Dr Asyik graduated from University College Cork, National University of Ireland in 2006.
In the early years, he rotated through various specialties in Irish hospitals, soaking up experience in geriatrics, emergency medicine, general internal medicine, cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, dermatology and rheumatology.
Dr Asyik relocated to Singapore in 2015 and started his local career at the General Medicine and Emergency Medicine departments of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital before moving on to the Medical department of Woodlands Health Campus in July 2018. He subsequently hopped to the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital in January 2020.
Dr Asyik joined the OneCare team in August 2021.
