Dr Cheong Yee Ling is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon who has a diverse range of surgical experience and her qualifications include MBBS (Malaya) 2003, MRCSI (Ireland) and FAMS (Paediatric Surgery).
Dr Cheong treats a wide range of surgical conditions in children and enjoys the fine handiwork involved in many of these surgeries. She also offers minimally invasive surgeries (MIS) as part of treatment options. Some of her conditions treated include thoracic (recurrent pneumothorax, empyema/pneumonia complications), abdomen (appendicitis, abdominal pain, constipation), urology (hydronephrosis, VUR, hypospadias), pelvis (ovarian cysts, imperforate hymen) and inguinoscrotal conditions (hernia, hydrocele and undescended testis).
Dr Cheong contributed in various publications in local and international journals as a Clinical Senior Lecturer for the Clinical Faculty Scheme of YLL School of Medicine and as a Clinical Assistant Professor for Duke of National University of Singapore (NUS). In addition, Dr Cheong is also a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore, and a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland.
