Dr Pang graduated from National University of Singapore and obtained her membership to the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom in 2008. In pursuit of her passion, she underwent further sub-specialty training at the renowned Western Australian Gynaecologic Cancer Services in Perth under the Health Manpower Development Plan, returning to practice in Singapore in 2013. She also won the prestigious Tony McCartney Surgical Innovation Award during her time in Australia.
Prior to establishing her private practice, Dr Pang was a consultant at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Singapore General Hospital. In recognition for her devotion towards patient care, she received the 10 year long service award in 2013 and was given the Service with a Heart award twice during her employment.
Dr Pang is an accredited colposcopist and trainer, and has been serving as a Council Member in the Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology of Singapore (SCCPS) since 2009. Teaching and training for medical trainees and junior doctors is also one of her dedications. She is a clinical instructor of Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, as well as an adjunct professor at the Duke-NUS Graduate School of Medicine. Outside work, Dr Pang is passionate about public education on prevention and early detection of female cancers and has been actively involved in several cancer prevention talks and campaigns. She is an active advocate of women’s health issues, and since 2010, she has been working closely with the Singapore Cancer Society and other bodies in promoting Cancer Awareness. She also represented Singapore General Hospital in the Women’s Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month Steering Committee (WGCAMC) organised by Singapore Cancer Society. With her dedication and commitment, Dr Pang hopes to educate our women and empower them with knowledge; execute expert treatment; and celebrate survivorship with them.
