Dr Tan Zhen Han is a Senior Consultant Paediatrician at SBCC Baby & Child (Bukit Panjang). Dr. Tan Zhen Han graduated on the Dean’s List from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University of Singapore with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 2008. He attained his postgraduate qualifications with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) in 2012. He attained accreditation with the Specialist Accreditation Board as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine in 2014 and was conferred Fellowship by the Academy of Medicine, Singapore in 2015.
He is highly experienced in managing the wide spectrum of childhood medical conditions such as childhood immunisations, infant nutritional and growth assessment, and allergy conditions including allergic rhinitis, urticaria (hives).
Dr. Tan was awarded the Outstanding House Officer Award in the Department of Paediatrics in 2008, the Singapore Health Quality Service Award (Silver Award) in 2012, and held the title of Chief Registrar for the Department of Paediatrics for the period from November 2012 to April 2013

Prior to joining SBCC, Dr Tan was a Consultant Paediatrician at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. He also published several papers in various international peer-reviewed scientific journals. The papers include Principles of Clinical Management of Patent Ductus Arteriosus in Extremely Preterm Neonates (Current Pediatric Reviews, 2016), Case Series of 3 Infants with Erythema Multiforme following Hepatitis B Vaccination (Pediatrics and Neonatology, 2016), Association of Trisomy 18 with Hepatoblastoma and its Implications (European Journal of Pediatrics, 2014), and Nail Shedding Following Hand Foot Mouth Disease (Archives of Disease and Childhood, 2013).
Dr. Tan is an active volunteer with the Children’s Special Needs Support Group in his church, and a member of the Academy of Medicine (Paediatrics), and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
