Adj A/Prof Chan completed his basic MBBS degree at the National University of Singapore, before starting his paediatrics and neonatal training at the Department of Paediatrics in National University Hospital (NUH) from 1996. He obtained his MRCP (UK) and MRCPCH (UK) in 1998, together with the MMED (Paeds).
He received his advanced specialist training in the same hospital and obtained the FAMS in 2001. His current practice at the NUH includes all areas of general paediatrics and he is a Senior Consultant at the Division of General Ambulatory Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Khoo Teck Puat-National University Children's Medical Institute, NUH.
He has special interest in dermatology, feeding and nutrition as well as vaccinology, and has obtained a diploma in Dermatology for general practice from the National Skin Centre in 2000.
