Dr Joe Lim obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dentistry, National University of Singapore under a prestigious Singapore Armed Forces Scholarship. He is a fully registered dental professional with the Singapore Dental Council and completed the Master of Dental Surgery Part 1 examinations in NUS.

Prior to joining private practice, Dr Joe served with the Singapore Armed Forces with his last appointment being SAF’s Head Dental Officer. During his term in public service, Dr Joe has completed numerous clinical rotations within SAF Dental Centres and in National Dental Centre Singapore, where he demonstrated his aptitude in Oral Surgery and Advanced General Dentistry. Dr Joe is also a key opinion leader for 3M Oral Care Singapore for restorative dentistry and has presented in local and international conferences on various topics. Beyond his accolades, Dr Joe’s heritage of service underscores his dedication to his patients’ well-being and comfort. Now, he aims to carry forward this legacy by crafting personalized treatment plans that prioritise his patients’ health and aesthetic aspirations. Dr Joe particular enjoys performing smile enhancing procedures such as aesthetic veneers, implantations and teeth whitening.

However, Dr Joe is known not only for his dental dexterity but also for his unwavering patience and gentleness. Navigating the realm of dentistry can be daunting, but Dr Joe hopes to be a partner who listens, understands, and tailors treatments to match his patients’ unique needs. He aspires to provide the epitome of affordable and high-quality dental care in an environment that revolves around his patients’ comfort.

Outside of Dentistry, Dr Joe pursues wide-ranging passions in education, adventure, and technology (EAT). Dr Joe was pivotal in launching SAF’s first dental training facility and developing plans for the elevation of healthcare standards for the SAF. He also voluntarily deployed on the frontlines during the Covid-19 pandemic and enjoyed the various overseas missions he partook in. In his free time, Dr Joe Lim dabbles with the latest tech trends and wonders how they could help him make life better for him and his patients.
