Annelise graduated from the National University of Singapore and has been in private practice since 2019. She has extensive experience working with both local and expatriate individuals and families, providing therapy across diverse cultural backgrounds.
Trained in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E) by the University of Oxford, Annelise integrates a range of evidence-based approaches, including Advanced Schema Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy, to create personalised treatment plans for her clients.
She specialises in eating disorders and disordered eating behaviours, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of general practitioners, psychiatrists, and dieticians to provide holistic care. In addition, she supports individuals struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, unhealthy relationship patterns, low self-esteem, and body image concerns.
Passionate about helping high-functioning professionals thrive in demanding environments, Annelise is currently the onsite psychologist at an international law firm, offering direct mental health support to legal professionals. She is also an SRP-Approved Clinical Supervisor, mentoring psychologists-in-training as they develop their therapeutic competencies.
