Therapeutic Approach

Dian provides therapy to support clients in understanding thoughts and emotions, addressing unhealthy patterns, coping with trauma, and managing mood and behavior challenges (e.g., depression, anxiety, burnout). She also works with relationship and interpersonal difficulties (personal, professional, and family), adjustment to life transitions (e.g., retirement, grief, migration), and issues related to sexuality, gender identity, dementia, and caregiving.

Dian’s approach to therapy is inclusive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed. She focuses on creating a safe and collaborative environment where clients can access their inner strengths and resources to navigate new or challenging circumstances.

Her therapeutic work is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy. Dian has completed Level 2 EMDR training and Level 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy training, enabling her to work effectively with both individuals and couples.

Dian believes that therapy is a deeply personal journey, and she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of each client, whether they are seeking healing, growth, or greater self-understanding.

Personal Information

Born in Indonesia, Dian has spent much of her adult life living, studying, and working in diverse countries, including The Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, and Singapore. Her multicultural experiences have deepened her appreciation for the complexities of identity, belonging, and life transitions.

Her professional background, combined with her international experiences, enables her to connect with clients navigating a wide range of personal and professional challenges.

Dian values empathy, curiosity, and authenticity in her work and strives to create a therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they work toward their goals.
